Recently, one of OUR own, Bobby Davis, Jr., a Hardy Fire Fighter/First Responder, was in an off-duty accident that resulted in him losing a hand(less his thumb).
On May 18th, we will be holding a benefit for him to help he and his family recover from loss of work time and medical expenses. This benefit will be held at the Hardy Civic Center from 5pm until whenever and will include a Spaghetti Dinner (Highlander Spaghetti) & LIVE Music from “UNDER THE INFLUENCE”.
Donations are being taken at FIRST COMMUNITY BANK at the entrance to Cherokee Village Under “Benefit for Bobby Davis Jr.”
Tickets will be available in advance for $10.00 and will include the dinner and music. These tickets will be available from the Hardy Fire Department and certain businesses (to be announced) as early as next week. With or without dinner/music only, admission will be $10.00 at the door as well.
We at the Hardy Fire Department ask that y’all spread the word and that ALL of our areas fine First Responders show up in support of our brother.
Those wishing to volunteer help for this event, please Chief Josh Moore at (870) 856-2136.
